At One Step Quality Care we believe that everyone has something special. If given the right support and strategies, they can thrive and be successful in the world. We are committed to walking alongside you as we work together to address your needs. We offer a wide array of services which include in-home therapy, behavioral assistant services, and needs assessment evaluations.

Intensive In-Community Services

We offer a unique and highly effective mental health program for children, young adults, and their families. Intensive In-Community Services are analytical, focused, goal-oriented, and needs-based clinical interventions that address the emotional and behavioral challenges that children and young adults experience. Services typically occur in the home but can be conducted in the community depending on the presenting needs. One Step Quality Care has a team of highly dedicated Therapists and Behavioral Assistants that can assist in addressing the challenges of the children, young adults, and families we serve.
One Step Quality Care’s professionals are trained in:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-Focused CBT
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Mindfulness
  • The Nurtured Heart Approach
  • The Arc-Grow model
  • And More

The IIC Services are intended to be part of a comprehensive plan of care that is driven by the youth and family to address assessed needs. The interventions are tailored to meet the unique needs of the youth, are reflective of their cultural values and norms, and utilize the strengths of the youth and their family.

Behavioral Intervention Services

Our professional behavioral staff will assist with addressing topics such as: behavioral challenges, anger management, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, increasing socialization, communication, interpersonal relationships, and familial issues. Our Behavioral Assistants work collaboratively with our Clinicians and will implement the treatment plan that is developed.

Needs Assessment Evaluation

Needs Assessment Evaluations are conducted by a Licensed Clinician to determine the appropriate level of care for behavioral health services through the New Jersey Children’s System of Care (CSOC).
